西洋老式情歌

「雨和淚」這首歌雖然是西洋老歌中
一首不可或缺的經典作品，
但演唱這首歌的團體
從來不曾在英美兩地大紅大紫過。

　這首歌原唱者~
希臘籍愛神之子合唱團（Aphrodite's child），
這首歌最特別的地方，

在於它是由著名的古典作品
「卡農」（Canon）改編而成。
「卡農」是古典音樂中一種特定的曲式，
最著名的是巴洛克時期德籍作曲家帕海貝爾的作品。

說得直接一點，
「雨和淚」是運用帕海貝爾的「卡農」
和弦填上新的旋律所產生的一首歌。

愛神之子合唱團的團員, 
都受過古典音樂的訓練，
其中的鍵盤手特別值得一提。

這位鍵盤手名叫范吉利斯（Vangelis），
後來他努力鑽研電子音樂，
推出很多膾炙人口的作品，
國內有很多電視廣告或節目
都曾引用他的作品作為背景音樂。

此外，他也為電影編寫配樂，
較著名的
有“火戰車”“銀翼殺手”“1492”“南極物語”等，
其中“火戰車”還獲得奧斯卡最佳配樂。
